What is the term of a storage rental? Do I have to sign a lease?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required. Please speak with our friendly Site Managers about our monthly specials. You can rent the unit for the month or as long as you wish.

How do I know what size unit I need?

We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs from 5x5 to 10x30. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our Space Estimator and What Fits tools. You can also speak with one of our knowledgeable Site Managers to assist you in this process.

Can I purchase boxes and packing supplies from StorKwik Self Storage?

Yes, we offer a full range of packing and moving supplies.

Do I need a special lock when I rent a unit?

Most doors will accommodate a regular padlock or disc lock. You may provide your own or purchase a high quality lock at the time of your rental.

Who has a key to my Unit?

We do not keep keys to anyone’s unit. You will have the only keys to your unit!

Do you offer RV/boat/car storage?

Many of our locations offer outdoor vehicle storage. Please call the location near you to inquire about availability. These spaces go quickly so please call or come in to reserve a spot.

How do I pay for my unit?

We offer many payment options to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible. You can make your payment at StorKwik.com by logging in to the Payment section. At our locations, we accept personal or business checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cashier’s checks and money orders. Please be aware that we do not take cash at our sites. You may also sign up for auto pay that will charge your credit card each month.

What are your office hours and access hours?

Most site office hours are 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Saturday but hours may vary slightly by location. Select locations are also open on Sundays. Access hours are generally 6AM-9PM but may vary by site. Please visit our site location page for the access hours for the location nearest you.

What Do You Do To Keep My Belongings Safe?

StorKwik Self Storage has a computerized gate system so each tenant receives their own unique keypad access code. Most sites have an upgraded state-of-the-art surveillance system that digitally records 24 hours a day. Sites are fenced and well lit and our highly-trained managers conduct regular walks throughout the day. However, unforeseen events can happen, and we strongly recommend the purchase of stored goods insurance available at the site.

What is climate control?

Climate control is a feature that we offer at many sites. Our climate controlled units are set to maintain a temperature of no less than 55° in the winter months and no more than 78° in the summer. This is the temperature range that is generally accepted in the industry.

Do you have any specials/promotions?

StorKwik continually offers Move In specials that change frequently. Contact the Site Manager for more details.

Can I pay my storage bill online?

Yes, paying your bill online is available through the account login in the “Make a Payment” section.

What’s a roll-up door?

Roll-up doors are similar to garage doors – they roll up overhead for easy access. They’re usually wider than swing doors, making it easy to move things in and out.

Do you have handcarts or dollies for use at your facilities?

Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts and dollies while onsite.

Are there moving trucks available for rent?

Our sites offer U-HAUL truck rentals. Contact the site nearest you for truck rental availability. Contact information for each site is available on our home page.
